James has always had a passion for motorcycles.  He learned how to ride on the dirt when he was six while taking desert trips to Ocotillo Wells, CA.  At the age of ten, he started working in a family owned motorcycle shop in Southern California.  Initially, he was tasked with keeping the showroom clean and washing the customer’s motorcycle after service work had been completed.  As he continued to work here until he was 13, his tasks evolved from shop upkeep to parts inventory, online sales, and shipping/receiving.  During his last year, he rode his first motorcycle on the street and began to perform supervised maintenance work.

James attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautics.  Immediately after graduation, James began working at a Fortune 100 Company as a management person.  Being married to a military service member, he moved three times with his wife Nikki before settling in Phoenix in 2017. 

In January 2021, Nikki and James will PCS to Eielson AFB located in North Pole, AK.

– 2017: Expert unlimited, 2016 Yamaha R1
– 2019: Left the corporate world to pursue his passion for motorcycles.

As a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Ridercoach, James is certified to teach the Basic RiderCourse (BRC), AdventureBike RiderCourse, and DirtBike School.
